“Toosie Slide” has just debuted No.1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 songs chart! This achievement marks history for Drake!
He has just become the first male artist and the second musical act overall to have debuted three singles at the number one spot.
Billboard reported that the only artist to achieve this before him was Mariah Carey between the years of 1995 and 1997.
The hot new single replaced The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights,” which spent two weeks at the number one spot.
“Toosie Slide” follows “God’s Plan” which made the top of the charts on February 3, 2018. On April 21, 2018, Drake’s “Nice For What” replaced it.
