In 2021, she won the Best Original Song for “Fight for You” from Judas and the Black Messiah at the 93rd Academy Awards. In addition, this year, the R&B singer could win her second Oscar for the song “Automatic Woman” from the Netflix film, Bruised. Winning would make her the first woman ever to win “Best Original Song” back-to-back.
