H.E.R. is stepping out of the studio and stepping into a new realm in entertainment.
The Hollywood Reporter has announced that H.E.R. will be joining the film adaption of the award winning musical The Color Purple.
She will reportedly portray Squeak. The film is currently in its pre-production stage. It has also been reported that the Grammy Award-winning artist could possibly create and perform a new original song for the movie musical adpation.
Marcus Gardley will pen the screenplay, while Blitz Bazawule will direct.
