After Netflix announced a recent increase in pricing, its rival HBO Max decided to lower prices for potential January subscribers.
HBO Max is offering 20% off its monthly plans. Its current plan options are $9.99 per month for an ad-supported version and $14.99 per month for ad-free viewing. With the new deal, everyone who signs up before the end of January will receive the plans at the cost of $7.99 or $11.99 per month for one year.
