On Saturday, March 19th, there was only one place to be in Los Angeles… the Producers Guild of America Awards! Taking place at the beautiful Fairmont Century Plaza for the 33rd year in a row, the evening was met reeled in all the biggest film producers and tastemakers in the entertainment industry, paving the way for this year’s 2022 Oscars to arrive. Since the award show began, PGA has predicted 22 of the 32 winners for the Best Picture Academy Award.

Sheen Magazine had the pleasure of attending the awards ceremony, covering from the press room among fellow elite publications. The dress attire was a “glamorous cocktail,” with everyone decked out in their best outfits as they graced the red carpet. Whether or not you were talent or simply there to enjoy the festivities, there was nothing but good vibrations as we celebrated our nominees and winners.

George Lucas and Kathleen Kennedy took home the Milestone Award, Rita Moreno won the Stanley Kramer Award, Mary Parent won the David O. Selznick Achievement Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures, Greg Berlanti with the Norman Lear Achievement Award in Television, while Dan Lin was revealed to be the first-ever recipient of the Vance Van Petten Entrepreneurial Spirit Award.

A standout moment was definitely Issa Rae being honored with the Visionary Award, which honors producers across television or film who share inspiring, uplifting stories that add unique value to our society and culture.
