Who is Tammie Lilly?

I was born in Marshall, Texas but call Hempstead, Texas my home. I am a mother, pastor’s wife, businessowner, author, and, most importantly, a woman of God. I believe everyone is good and desires to be treated well. I enjoy being a blessing to others. After 20 years in the tax industry, I knew it was time to let my light shine through my morals, integrity, and principles. This led me to launch KRC Tax & Business in 2012. My goal is to inspire as many aspiring and new business owners as possible.

What is the most important information we should know about filing taxes?

Recordkeeping and accuracy are incredibly important.

What are some of your greatest accomplishments?

Life was stacked against me after the death of my mother. I overcame many obstacles by the grace of God. I started a business that’s still running today. I’ve grown in my journey, gaining strength by seeing every stumbling block as a steppingstone to greatness.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to mirror your success?

Don’t walk into an adventure like owning a business with your eyes completely shut. You want the rewards, but you must realize there will be trials. You’ll have times that will test you from the core of who you are to who you want to be.

What sense of purpose do you draw from your culture and community?

I cannot expect others to do what I was ordained to do; only I can do it.

Where can we find you and learn more about your work?
