This just in! Artists J Balvin and Roddy Rich are no longer on the list of artists to perform at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards.

E! News has reported that the two decided to pull out of the show which is set to premiere LIVE on Sunday, August 30th.

Variety has also reported that that the decision to do so may have been because of this year’s format for the big show.

Earlier this month, it was announced that the ceremony would not take place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn due to our global pandemic.

Performances for this year’s show will be held in various outdoor spaces throughout New York City. Keke Palmer is set to host this year’s VMAs.

We know that DaBaby, The Weeknd, Doja Cat, Ariana Grande, and more artists will all hit the stage to perform.
