The CHI’s Jacob Latimore snagged a role in the new Netflix film that might have many fans wanting to protect Emmitt.

Leatherface has returned, and he’s crazier than before! If you’re a horror fanatic, this is for your pleasure as Netflix just released a remake of Tobe Hooper’s 1974 classic, Texas Chainsaw Massacre. According to The Hollywood Reporter, after an introductory narration by John Larroquette, viewers are introduced to four young friends who quickly become Leatherface’s target. Melody (Sarah Yarkin), her teenage sister Lila (Elsie Fisher), Dante (Jacob Latimore), and Ruth (Neil Hudson) are in for a rude awakening full of blood splatter. The quartet arrives in a small Texas Town where Melody and Dante dream of starting a business.

In old school horror movie fashion, the building they acquired is the site of an abandoned orphanage. A creepy older woman offers them some sweet tea— because it wouldn’t be a horror film without strange offerings from strangers— and a falling domino of events happens after. The film is now available on Netflix. Will you be watching?
