2021 has certainly been an incredible year for many gospel artists from chart topping albums, to landing movie roles and winning numerous music awards. Gospel star, Jekalyn Carr is definitely winning this season. Her latest single, “Jehovah Jireh” which is an amazing song reached number one on the Billboard charts. She took to social media to share the exciting news. The Grammy nominated and DOVE award winning singer posted a photo via her Instagram page.
Jekalyn received a huge amount of love from fellow Gospel artists as well other members of the music and entertainment industry.
Award winning songstress Koryn Hawthorne left this sweet comment under her photo. “This is my song 🙌🏽🙌🏽congratulations sister , way more to go 🔥❤️”. Award winning Gospel great Tye Tribbett posted the following comment. “YUPPPPPPP 💪🏿🙌🏿 let’s gooooooooooo my sis‼️”.
The congratulatory messages did not end there. Billboard Award Gospel artist, Travis Greene left this comment under her photo. “AYYEEEE 🔥🔥🔥”.
The rising Gospel star has earned eight career Billboard #1’s before the age of 21, which includes the hit singles, “You’re Bigger” and “You Will Win”. She is an award winning recording artist as well as a profound speaker, entrepreneur, actress, and author. Jekalyn is not only thriving in her personal life, she continues to win in her career as well. She recently joined Praise 102.5 as the host of Middays which is the country’s top inspirational station.
She was beyond excited and very grateful for the opportunity and shared the following statement. “I’m excited that my new radio show is with my Atlanta family, Praise 102.5.” She continued on, “It has always been a desire of mine to use my gifts to Inspire people!” She is an incredible singer and “Jehovah Jireh” is indeed a very inspirational and powerful song.
