There are a million talented people in the world, but when it comes to oil painters, Mariella Angela is the GOAT. If you follow her on Instagram, you’re probably very familiar with her work. The Southern California native exploded onto the scene with her distinct, detailed portraits of all your favorite artists in the music industry, spanning the greats from all genres.

On April 15th, Mariel welcomed her 28th birthday… and what better way to celebrate than to throw an intimate art show for your supporters? The evening prior, Mariella rented out a private venue in downtown Los Angeles, showcasing her paintings of Lil Baby, Kodak Black, Nipsey Hussle, Trippie Redd, Young Thug, Cardi B, Tyler, The Creator, and many more.

From 5pm to 10pm, guests were invited to come celebrate Mariella and her art, which covered the white walls in the most perfect row. Following her last art show, which was a huge success in Venice Beach back in 2018 and even deemed her the cover of LA Weekly, Mariella wanted to do things on her terms. In fact, she pulled this art show together in less than a week and attracted hundreds of visitors on a whim spanning from fans, industry veterans, celebrities and socialites.

The event served as the perfect cross between art and music, with sounds by Hu Dat. For those who want to support Mariel, please visit her website at https://www.mariellaangela.com/.
