Sha’Tonya is leading by example and bringing others with her as she empowers and educates other small business owner in the tax industry. To date her Tax Academy has helped hundreds of families create generational wealth in communities throughout the globe.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
I’m Sha’Tonya Thomas, commonly known as Rosie Thomas. I was born and am still residing in Dallas, TX. I’m the CEO and founder of Thomas Financial LLC. I started my career as a tax professional 20 years ago. Seven years into my career I stepped out on faith and that is when “Thomas Financial” was founded. As of today, Thomas Financial is growing rapidly. I own my very own Tax Academy. I created and launched one of the top-selling Tax Planners. Also, just recently I’m happy to say that I could add being an Author and a Motivational Speaker to my credentials.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
My success was far from easy in the beginning. I had no access to coaches or guidance when I started my business. Tax preparation was not as popular when I started. Everything was done on trial and error. I overcame so many obstacles and challenges. That’s why I’m so patient about Coaching and helping other tax professionals in the industry.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I specialize in personal tax preparation, business tax preparation, and coaching. Not only am I an expert in tax preparation. I assist business owners to structure their businesses, scale their businesses, build business credit, and increase their revenue. I launched Thomas Tax Academy in 2018, and as of today, I’ve coached over 150 successful tax professionals helping them start a tax business or scale their current business. I absolutely love coaching and helping tax professionals succeed. It brings me much joy to inspire others, share my blueprint to success and watch them blossom. I was born with a gift from God and I understood the assignment.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
My best piece of advice for finding success is first to know your purpose and passion. No matter how long it takes to figure out what your purpose is, keep going until you find what you love and are passionate about. If you do what you love, it makes success comes easily.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success is loving yourself, loving what you do, the results that come from it and loving how you do it.
What’s next for you?
I’m preparing to travel the world to speak and inspire others. There are so many people in this world with talent who just don’t know where to start or how to start. My story needs to be heard because if I did it, anyone can do it. They just need a push and I’m coming to push them into success.
