Due to our current pandemic, it was just announced that the Michael Jackson musical titled, MJ has been postponed.

The musical, originally set to take place at the Neil Simon Theater in New York city was set to take place on August 13th this year. Ephraim Sykes (who will portray the iconic artist) will now moonwalk across the stage on April 15th, 2021 for the musical.

Those that purchased a tickets for the musical will be rewarded a refund.

The Broadway League has been closed during the pandemic was was set to reopen early June but now they are in talks of holding off on opening until Labor Day.

Vulture shared that New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo has placed arts and entertainment in the last phase of his plans to reopen the state of New York.
