Okay seriously, is there anything she can’t do? Our forever favorite PLOTUS, Michelle Obama is now turning over to support first-generation college students and in a fun, innovative new way.

Obama will be releasing an IGTV series for young students with the goal to help them prepare themselves for college. The show titled, A Year of Firsts will allow viers a look at different experiences first-generation students go through in their freshman year.

Michelle Obama was a first-generation student herself. In a statement shared on The Hollywood Reporter, Obama said, “As a first-generation college student myself, I know how intimidating it can be to take that leap and pursue your educational dreams.”

She adds, “That’s why I’m so proud of these students. By sharing their stories, they’re helping others see that the ups and downs of the first year of college are something everyone goes through — and they’re creating a supportive community for others facing similar challenges.”

The new show is produced by ATTN in partnership with Reach Higher, which is an initiative created by Michelle Obama in an effort to support and inspire students who aspire higher education. Here’s a sneak peek at what you can expect to see in the new series.

A Year of Firsts is set to debut on IGTV mid-January with six episodes. Let us know in the comments if you’ll be tuning in!
