We honestly did our research and came across this amazing homemade disinfectant that is organic, healthy, affordable, and just fun to do, since we know you have time on your side. Also, this healthy alternative will save you on time from using your gas to go to the stores to find nothing on the shelves.

Now, let’s have fun with this Homemade Hand Sanitizer!

DIY Ingredients:

2/3 cup of 91% isopropyl rubbing alcohol

1/3 cup of Aloe Vera gel

Essential oils (Tea Tree, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Cinnamon, or Lavender)

Small mixing bowl

Spoon

Empty pump dispenser or travel container

DIY Directions:

  1. In the mixing bowl, use the spoon to stir together the rubbing alcohol and Aloe Vera gel.
  2. Mix in 8 to 10 drops of your preferred essential oils. This is an optional step to give your hand sanitizer a pleasing scent.
  3. Pour the homemade hand sanitizer into the pump dispenser or travel container.
