Let’s be real, keeping your hard work’s slay on your face is an absolute must. Whether you’re going out on the town or prepping for an important Zoom meeting, it’s important to lock that makeup in place, am I right?

Ever since setting spray became a thing, it completely changed the beauty game. The fact that it is so easy to use makes our lives more simple and beautiful too.

I love setting sprays because I find that they are multi-functional. I’ve used them on my brushes to get the best color payoff on products (eyeshadow, highlight, etc.), of course set my makeup in place after completing a makeup look, and finally to refresh the face and skin throughout the day.

With so many setting sprays on the market, it sure can be overwhelming. That’s why I’m here to bring you the best of the best! Check out our editors’ favorite makeup setting sprays of all time! Let us know in the comments what your go-to setting spray is.

If you love a matte finish (like me) then this is the setting spray for you! I love that it contains SPF so I don’t have to take an extra step in making sure my skin is protected. It’s great because it contains such great ingredients that don’t’ budge or mess up your hard work.

New to my makeup collection, this setting spray is pure perfection. The mist is ultra-fine and creates this smoothing effect on the face. I love that it lets my skin breath, is fast-trying, and does not feel sticky on the skin!

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray, $35

I love this setting spray because it does exactly what it’s name says it does. It is super long lasting and even great to use to prime the skin before applying makeup. I’ve used this setting spray a few times, worn a mask, and noticed that there is never any makeup transfer from my face to my mask.

NYX Dewy Finish Makeup Setting Spray, $9

Who doesn’t love a setting spray that adds a beautiful sheen to the skin? I love NYX setting sprays because there is also a matte version as well for those that don’t want to shine bright like a diamond. This setting spray will give you that luminious glow without making your makeup appear oily.
