Congratulations are in order!

Black girl magic is real, but you all knew that!

Just recently, Miss Ireland crowned their first Black queen in the pageant’s 74-year history.

Pamela Uba was named Miss Ireland! The model and medical scientist entered the competition as Miss Galway.

Uba is a South Africa native and moved to Ireland at just 8-years-old. Uba will go onto represent the country of Ireland in the 70th Miss World pageant in Puerto Rico this year.

Congratulations Pamela Uba!
