Showtime recently released a teaser of their upcoming docuseries that places a spotlight on the rise and fall of Bill Cosby.

We Need to Talk About Cosby, a four-part docuseries directed by W. Kamau Bell, features interviews with journalists, fellow comedians and women who’ve had troublesome experiences with the man formerly known as “America’s Dad.”

Bill Cosby stole our hearts in the 80s while playing the character of the beloved Dr. Heathcliff Huxtable on NBC’s sitcom The Cosby Show. During the shows run, Heathcliff, affectionately known as Cliff, was a virtual father figure for many Black men in America. In the newly released trailer for We Need to Talk About Cosby, Bell describes himself as a “child of Cosby.” While coming to terms with the former hero’s transgressions and time in prison, Bell questioned, “How do we talk about Bill Cosby?”

To find out the answer to this question, set your calendars for the Showtime premiere of We Need to Talk About Cosby on January 30th.
