Okay, I don’t know if this is just me or what but 2020 has been the year of skincare for me. I’m not quite sure if it’s the quarantine life that made me want to take my skincare steps more seriously or what but I’m glad it happened.
Lately, I’ve been obsessed with the brand Philosophy. I know what you’re probably thinking, where have you been lady?! The first product I tried from the brand months ago was their Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleanser.
Needless to say, I was in love after the first use. Like many people, I was impressed and just felt so clean using it. Just recently, I learned that Philosophy was planning to release an oil-free version of their purity collection and I was super intrigued and excited to try!
The brand launched the Purity Made Simple Oil-Free One Step Mattifying Facial Cleanser with Bamboo Extract ($25) and the Purity Made Simple Oil-Free One-Step Mattifying Gel Moisturizer with Vitamins and Bamboo Extract ($28). Both products were created with all of us combo/oily skin beauties in mind. Although the two new products are mattifying, they are far from drying.
The brand incorporated bamboo extact into their products and that ingredient alone may be the magic touch. That’s not all folks, the brand also relaunched their original Purity Cleanser – which as new packaging without parabens and such.
