Being Mary Jane star, Raven Goodwin has just recently been cast to portray Hattie McDaniel in the upcoming Lifetime biopic, Behind The Smile.
If you didn’t already know, Hattie McDaniel became the first Black person to ever win an Oscar Award.
This project is being produced by Jami McCoy-Lankford of Hillionaire Productions and Global Genesis Group. The script was written by Gregory Blair.
At this time, no director has been attached to this project.
