Since launching in the spring, Verzuz has hosted some of music’s heavy hitters guests from Erykah Badu and Jill Scott, Beenie Man and Bounty Killer, Snoop Dogg and DMX, Brandy and Monica plus many more. The most recent installment featured music legends Patti LaBelle and Gladys Knight. With the first season of Verzuz being such a huge with success, there was only a matter of time before the popular series return for another season. The second season is set to begin in November. Atlanta rappers T. I. And Jeezy will be kicking off the new season of Verzuz with battle that is going to be iconic and epic.
Both rappers took to social media to share the exciting news about the upcoming event. T.I. posted a photo on his Instagram to share the news.
Many followers agree that this battle is going to be fire! One follower left this comment. “NoW THIS is a #verzuz.” Another follower left this comment under the post. “That’s what I’m talkin about…. Rubberband Man vs Snowman.”

Jeezy also posted a photo on his Instagram page.
He received tons of love from followers and fans as well as members from the music and entertainment world. Co-host from award winning daytime show, The Real and fiancé Jeanie Mai left this comment, “Last time I checked ☃️💯”. Legendary Record Label Def Jam also posted a comment. “LET’S GOOOOOO ❄️❄️❄️.”
T.I. has been wanting to do a Verzuz battle since it’s launch back in the spring. He declined the invitation to battle with rap icon Busta Rhymes stating the generation gap between them.
Finally, although many fans are excited about the upcoming Verzuz battle between the two Atlanta legends, they are not thrilled about how far out the event is, however admit the greatness is definitely worth waiting for.
The second season of Verzuz will begin on November 19 at 5pm PT/8pm ET and viewers can watch the fire battle between , T.I. and Jeezy, on Instagram or in HD on Apple Music. This is one battle that the hip hop community will be talking about for a long time.
