Having dry skin and being a foundation lover is a curse in it’s own. Finding the right foundation for your dry skin can be a task of it’s own. The pigment, finish, and coverage matters – afterall, who wants their skin to appear flaky? If you have dry skin, then you know how important it is to find a foundation that will not only last all day but also add moisture to the face. The good news is that I’ve tested out just about every foundation recommended for dry skin this year, and I think I’ve nailed my top four down.

Check out the foundations I have been loving this year for my dry skin.

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, $64

If you’ve got dry skin or not, I think everyone has seen this foundation being raved about all over social media for years. It provides medium, natural coverage and blurs out uneven texture as well as pores and fine lines on the face.

Maybelline Fit Me Dewy + Smooth Foundation, $8

Drugstore foundations are so underrated. This one has made my top five list for the past five years and for good reason! It is dewy on the skin, hydrating, and the coverage is buildable.

Pat McGrath Labs Skin Fetish Sublime Foundation, $68

If you’re willing to splurge a little on a good foundation – I highly reccomend this one. It doesn’t settle into fine lines and it appears so smooth on the face. Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick, Foundation sticks are so underrated! This one is great for dry skin because the formulation is so creamy and blendable.

Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Longwear Foundation, $36

If I’m being completely honest, each beauty post curated for the year 2021 more than likely included Fenty Beauty. This foundation is not only hydrating, but the staying power is REAL. In addition, you can’t beat the fact that they offer so many different shade ranges.
