The NFL wants to do what they can to show support and solidarity for the Black Lives Matter movement.
It was recently announced that before every NFL game during the first week of each team’s season, the black national anthem, “Life Every Voice And Sing” will be played or performed live.
ESPN has reported that the NFL will take this stance to support the black community.
They are also considering other measures for the upcoming seasons to recognize those that have lost their lives due to police brutality.
“Life Every Voice And Sing” woll be performed before The Star Spangled Banner.
The song will debut during the NFL season opeaner which is currently scheduled for September 10th between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Houston Texans.
