Tika Sumpter to Star In ‘The Ancestor’ – Produced by Michael B. Jordan

Tika Sumpter has just locked down an exciting new role.

The actress will star in The Ancestor – a new thriller coming to HBO Max. Sumpter will help produce this project alongside Michael B. Jordan and Alana Mayo. The project is written by This Is Us writer, Kay Oyegun.

Deadline has reported that Sumpter will portray a medical student who gets caught in a psychological thriller.
