Sasha Coleman is a native of Memphis, TN, and is letting her city know that she is ready to be the boss in the hair industry. For the past four years, the upcoming beauty mogul has been perfecting her craft and now she is beginning to reap the benefits. Not only has she worked with celebrities in the past such as Nia Dorsey, Young Dolph, and Drumma Boy but she has recently gone viral on TikTok with having over 1 million views as well as starting her 1-on-1 teaching sessions called, “The Slayed Academy”. On June 7th, Sasha made the tough decision by shutting down her online website to prepare for her upcoming salon. She wanted to be able to provide her customers with the best products, services, and wigs. Sasha makes all of her wigs using a sewing machine, sells different hair products, wig bands, as well as a variety of hair bundles for you to purchase. She is taking the hair industry by storm and isn’t showing any signs of slowing down.

Tell us about your grand opening that is happening on July 17th.

Our grand opening is going to be amazing! We will be introducing our entire staff, which consists of 3 hairstylists, myself (the wig master) my business partner, my mom (the celebrity hairstylist) our lash tech, makeup artist, and esthetician! We have a full house, and I am beyond grateful! There will be live music, hors d’oeuvres, lots of shopping, and we’re raffling off a 55”-65” tv!

What was it like trying to open up your store?

Honestly, everything happened so fast. I was not looking to expand in such a way as this. I always wanted a little suite in a location, but God did this randomly & suddenly for me! It was rather easy, I didn’t have to go through any strenuous processes, it was all God! It took three weeks to pull this off and I’m so excited for everyone to see it!

What is the top goal you have for your store?

Our biggest goal is to expand across the country. We are working on “The Total Woman Experience” location number two, already!

What can we expect to see from Sasha Coleman in the future?

I have a lot of plans up my sleeves! I plan to expand my product line into various products for the “everyday” woman. Not only am I an entrepreneur, but I love to teach wig-making. This fall I am releasing my mentorship program for young ladies aged 15-19 to teach them how to make extra income by being a wig maker. My ultimate goal is to retire in 5 years, at the age of 30 so that I can go on tour and teach wig-making all across the country!
