TriStar Pictures has just announced some exciting news!

A new project titled The Woman King is coming and it will star Viola Davis and John Boyega.

The new project is inspired by factual historical events that occured in the West African Kingdom of Dahomey (now known as Benin). The Dahomey Empire existed between 1600 and 1904.

You can also expect to see actress, Lashana Lynch star in this project.
