We all have heard the story of the train that could. The mindset was one of positivity. I think I can, I think I can, and it did. When you speak positivity and refuse to back down, that what you think is bound to become reality.

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” – Philippians 4:8 KJV

Where do you go to think or process your thoughts?

Changing our thought process and the way we speak is easier said than done because we have a learned behavior. It is our thought process that helps to form us and we become what we think.

Some people are satisfied where they are with no desire to go any further. You will hear things like this is the way it has always been and this is the way it is going to always be. We must break that mentality and way of thinking.

Then there’s us who are content but not satisfied. We are not where we were but we are not where we are going. The mentality becomes one of I’ve come too far to quit and give up. Obstacles arise but this person dusts himself off and gets back up and try again. Their mentality is one of I have to get to what I saw.

The key factor to becoming an achiever in life is to think on good things. Think on lovely things. What makes you smile? What brings you joy? What doesn’t give you a guilty conscience? Think on these things and make them a part of your life’s story.
