Sheen Magazine had the honor of conducting an exclusive interview with Rip Micheals and his wife Veronica Micheals at his April Fools Comedy Jam, in collaboration with Power 105.1 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
The Annual event featured a Star filled lineup which included comedic performances by T.I Harris, Nick Cannon, Eddie Griffin, B. Simone, Rip Michaels, Tony Roberts, Bruce Bruce, Michael Blackson, Deray Davis, Joe Torry, HaHa Davis, Jacob Williams and Ronnie Jordan. The show also featured musical performances by Moneybag Yo and Lil Kim.
Prior to COVID Shutdowns Rip produced and hosted his April Fools Comedy Jam Tour for eight consecutive years. The historically sold out event was highly anticipated and sold out in just 30 days. Rip and his team have mastered the art of healing people through laughter.
“We wanted to make sure that we had a platform in the current climate for people to come, laugh and leave their burdens. We also wanted to give back to the community by giving some artists an opportunity to perform on a big stage” Veronica Micheals said.
