SHEEN was on the scene for the Los Angeles premiere of the latest remake of the 90s classic fan favorite film, HOUSE PARTY.  Directed by Calmatic, HOUSE PARTY was written by Jamal Olori & Stephen Glover (‘Atlanta’) and produced by LeBron James and Maverick Carter of The SpringHill Company. The cast includes Tosin Cole, Jacob Latimore, Karen Obilom, D.C. Young Fly, Scott Mescudi. Executive producers include Reginald Hudlin, Warrington Hudlin, Spencer Beighley and Jamal Henderson.

The film also boasts numerous cameos by some of the biggest names in pop culture and entertainment including Billionaire tech investor and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, NBA legend turned film producer Lebron James, NBA player Anthony Davis, rapper Kid Cudi, legendary rapper, actor and show host  Snoop Dogg, stars of the original 1990 House Party film Christopher Reid and Christopher Martin aka Kid’N’Play, superstar rapper Lil Wayne, actor and producer Lena Waithe, original black power ranger Walter Emanuel Jones and singer Tinashe among others.

Aspiring club promoters and best buds Damon (Tosin Cole) and Kevin (Jacob Latimore) are barely keeping things together. Out of money, down on their luck and about to lose the roofs over their heads—and freshly fired from their low-lift jobs as house cleaners—the pair needs a huge windfall to make their problems go away. In a “what the hell?“ move, they decide to host the party of the year at an exclusive mansion, the site of their last cleaning job, which just so  happens to belong to none other than LeBron James. No permission? No problem. What could go wrong? How about not only a time traveling DJ, undependable security, a runaway guest list, one borrowed Lamborghini, angry rival promoters, a stolen championship ring, escalating property damage and an angry koala, but also one outrageous ride stacked with double-take cameos and timeless throwback tracks, R-rated comedy and two friends worth cheering for? After all, a night like this doesn’t come around more than once.

Among those that stopped by to chop it up with SHEEN on the red carpet were the leading man of the film Jacob Latimore, Christopher Reid and ChristopherMartin, aka Kid n Play, actor Bill Bellamy who plays Latimore’s character’s father “Pops”, Walter Emmanuel Jones, actor and singer Rotomi, actor Karen Obilom, actor and comedian DC Young Fly, Billionaire Shark Tank investor Mark Cuban, actors Chinedu Unaka, Watts Homie Quan and Gene Groove Allen, rappers Jay 305 and Young Sixx and DJ Hed.
