2 Times a Charm

A new beginning and second opening of Atlanta’s own Nouveau Bar & Grille. The College Park establishment has been rocking in the historic College Park, GA area since 2019. Even when the pandemic hit in 2020, they were still able to give food lovers all the good food that they love. Once the city opened, they resumed full operations and even introduced fun themed days where patrons can come and enjoy food and entertainment. On July 25,2021, Nouveau opened its second location just south of Atlanta in the city of Jonesboro. The grand opening celebration included live performances from R&B Singers and reality stars Nivea and Lil’Mo and RL from Next. Guest were served samples from the scrumptious menu including shrimp and grits, spinach dip and chicken and waffles. Opening the ceremony was the Jonesboro High School marching band. They were surprised with a surprise donation from the newest gem in Jonesboro; Nouveau Bar and Grille with a $5,000 donation, “When want to always give back to the community that we are a part of and each month we plan to make a donation”, says the owner Ebony Austin.

The native of Chicago, IL, says; “I brought a taste of Chicago to the south and people are loving it. With this second location we have a small amphitheater where we can provide a different type of entertainment to the area and of course great food. We most importantly want to be a pillar in the community making sure that we give back.” One of the highlights of the event was Austin being honored by the city of Jonesboro with her own day. Filled with emotion and humbling accepting, Ebony says “I’m grateful and honored for this, I cant wait to fully open and get people in here to eat and have a good time.”
