Adrienne Maloof and Niecy Nash-Betts throwing a holiday party? We wouldn’t miss it for the world!

On Thursday, December 21st, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star opened up her mansion in Beverly Hills to host her highly-anticipated holiday party. Hosted in conjunction with her good friend Niecy Nash-Betts, the event also served as a toy drive, directly benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and Amazing Grace Conservatory.

The beautiful, invite-only evening saw celebrity sightings from Stevie Wonder, Jeannie Mai, Ava DuVernay, LaLa Milan, Metta World Peace, DJ Paul, and more. This is what Maloof called “Party With A Purpose,” with 1200 unwrapped toys being donated in conjunction to the memorable Christmas celebration.

Sheen had the pleasure of chatting with both hosts about what they’re wearing, as well as the best Christmas present they’ve ever received.

Adrienne Maloof:

First of all, your house is amazing. Do you always do these holiday parties?

I love the holidays. Family friends, I do it up. I have a great circle of 3 of us, we really go all out.

How long does it take to prep something like this? Even the food…

The food is bomb right? I got a great team around me so I’m blessed.

This is for a good cause, talk about what it means to do this for charity.

We do it every year for Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. It was nice to bring Niecy, who I’ve known for quite a long time. She’s a great friend of mine. I really appreciate what she’s involved with. We thought: let’s collaborate and let’s do a party with a purpose. And that’s what we did.

What is the best Christmas present you’ve ever received?

Just my boys being home to visit. My oldest son’s away at college, so having family around.

Where did they go to college?

My oldest is in San Diego.

That’s not too far!

It’s not, but you’d be surprised. When they’re away, they’re away. And my twins are graduating this year, so I’m going to be an empty nest.

You got this huge house!

I know, I don’t know what I’m going to do.

Sheen Magazine is all about fashion. What are you wearing?

My really great friends Pol and Patrik Atteu, Gown and Out in Beverly Hills. They made this for me. But I gotta share my ring, because we just won the NHL championship. It’s taken my family about 40 years in sports to get a ring and be the best in the world, so I’m showing it off tonight.

That looks heavy duty!

It is heavy duty. When you’re the best in the world, that’s what happens. It’s like winning an Oscar or Emmy in the world of professional sports.

Anything else you want to let us know?

I just wish everyone health and happiness in the new year. And thank you for being here.

Niecy Nash-Betts

You look amazing, what are we wearing tonight?

I am wearing Nadine Merabi

What does it mean to be here today and do something for a good cause?

Listen, a good cause is what it’s all about. We’re supporting Children’s Hospital. We’re supporting Amazing Grace Conservatory, which is a performing art school for children in the inner city. It’s a party with a purpose.

What is the best Christmas gift you’ve ever received?

Probably the birth of my son. He was born on December 12th. So for Christma, I couldn’t even look at the tree. All I was looking at was this little beautiful brown baby.

How old is he now?

[laughs] He’s inside the party. He’s 32.

What about the best present you’ve ever given?

You’re looking at it!
