Affordable, quality skincare products, specifically face washes can be hard to find nowadays. It’s unfortunate too because it’s [in my opinion] the most important step in the skincare process. Finding a high-quality face wash is so crucial because your face essentially acts as your canvas. Clean skin only makes for a happy life and in order to get the skin of your dreams, you should start your process off with a clean slate. If you’ve read any of my beauty posts then you know I am a huge fan of drugstore products. I believe the best of the best come from the drugstore and well, I’m not wrong! Here are some of our favorite face washes and cleansers from the drugstore that are not only affordable but high in quality. Let us know in the comments what your favorite cleanser from the drugstore is!

Bioré Charcoal Acne Clearing Face Wash, $7.99

This was my personal go-to cleanser in college. One because it’s super affordable and two, because it has natural charcoal formulated in it to clean out the pores and unwanted oil (which I needed more than ever). I know charcoal may seem intimidating for those of you with sensitive skin, but believe me when I say that the product’s soothing formula is ultra-careful.

Akura Wellness Gentle Cleanser, $22

Here at SHEEN Magazine, we’re big fans of Akura Wellness. This cleanser has been featured as our Product Pick of the Week numerous times because it’s just that good! Not only does it remove makeup and dirt from the skin without stripping the skin of its moisture barrier, but it works great for all skin types – which we love. Whether you’re oily, dry, or combination, we’re more than certain you’ll this cleanser.

There are over 800 reviews on Sephora’s official website. I saw so many people raving about this cleanser on TikTok and had to give it a try myself. This cleanser is a true miracle. It is super gentle, yet effective for the skin. It makes the skin feel so smooth and clean, every single time.

The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser, $19

Another great gentle, moisturizing cleanser is this one from fan-favorite across the digital world. It is free of yucky parabens, mineral oils, and so much more. I personally love that it does not have a scent. Its focus is for those that want to may extra attention to their pores or dryness of the skin.

Cetaphil Foaming Facial Cleanser, $8.99

They say foaming cleansers are great for oily skin, and well, they are not wrong. I am obsessed with Cetaphil and I always will be. Even for those of you that may have sensitive skin, I highly recommend this cleanser. It doesn’t leave your skin feeling tight or dry upon washing and does wonders at cleansing the skin.
