Jennifer Allen’s story is one of remarkable transformation. Having worked as an Executive Assistant for many years, she boldly launched her micro-wedding company Just Elope in 2017 – a decision that has seen immense success!

The business went from 8 weddings booked in the first year to over 350 in 5 years. Most recently, she has gained recognition by being featured on shows such as Netflix’s “Love Is Blind” and WeTV’s “Brat Loves Judy ” as their Officiant. She has also had the privilege of marrying NFL players and, most notably, Hall of Fame receiver Jerry Rice’s daughter Jaqui. All thanks to an underwhelming experience at City Hall when getting married herself.

With only five days to plan her dream wedding before her husband left for deployment, this bride had no choice but to get hitched at either a courthouse or Las Vegas. Though she tried hard to make it as unique and beautiful as possible with the little time that remained, there were still certain sacrifices made – such as having her mom take pictures on just a cell phone instead of an official photographer and wearing nothing more than a white $15 Walmart dress.

Despite all these shortcomings, their love shone through, even if their nuptials weren’t quite what they envisioned!

“This should have been the happiest day of my life, I was about to marry the man of my dreams and our forever would officially start. RIGHT? Not quite,” said Allen. “I felt rushed and just another number in City Hall.”

Allen, who had experienced disappointment and stress as a bride-to-be, decided to help others by founding Just Elope. This business offers all the essentials for your special day – with packages ranging from preplanned to custom creations that can be provided on the same day! And not only does it take care of logistics, but now couples can also benefit from premarital coaching sessions or one on one marital advice services making this an ideal choice for brides and grooms eagerly counting down until their wedding date.

In response to the success of her business model in Dallas and intimate weddings skyrocketing by 67% since 2020, Allen is expanding her business nationally by creating the Just Elope App. The Just App lets couples connect with vendors in real-time, enabling them to compare prices, read reviews, and book services quickly and securely. The app will make communication and connections more accessible for busy couples worldwide.

The app will also serve as a CRM system for vendors to keep track of their bookings, scheduled events, and earnings. The Just Elope App will launch in April 2023, initially targeting Dallas, Austin, and Houston vendors and clients, before expanding to Las Vegas, San Francisco, and New Orleans, three of The Knot’s top elopement cities.
