Ailey fans can join in the dance and celebrate the 65th anniversary season by learning to move like an Ailey dancer! In conjunction with the upcoming holiday season engagement, Ailey Extension  is hosting a series of Saturday workshops led by current and former Company members to teach people of all ages and experience levels how to move like an Ailey dancer. Ahead of the start of the season, dancers can explore movement with a longtime Ailey Company member during an in-studio contemporary modern Masterclass with Constance Stamatiou on November 18 at 3:30pm. As the season kicks off, fans around the world are encouraged to come together and learn an excerpt from Alvin Ailey’s signature masterpiece for FREE during an online Revelations Around the World Workshop with Director of Ailey Extension and former Ailey dancer Lisa Johnson-Willingham on December 2 at 3:30pm. People can keep dancing to classic Ailey choreography when world-renowned former Ailey dancer Sarita Allen  teaches sections of Night Creature, Revelations, and Masekela Langage –  some of the iconic works that will be performed throughout the season – during an Ailey Classics Workshop on December 9 at 3:30pm at the Ailey studios.
