Many of us are finding it hard to find motivation during this difficult time. That goes for all aspects life, health/fitness, and even beauty. I’ve been a little sluggish when it comes to all those components of my life but something I haven’t been able to not stay consistent with is my skincare routine. Since I’ve been in quarantine, I forced myself to really get it together and re-asses my schedule and what products I am putting on my skin. We’re nearly two months into this global pandemic and honestly, healthy, brighter skin has kept my spirits up and kept me going each day. I’ve rounded up a few of my must-have skincare items to share with you today to ensure that your skin stays in tip-top shape while quarantining too!

Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser, $7

Since the beginning of quarantine and a stay-at-home order, I switched back to my OG cleanser and I’m so glad I did. I went so long without using this product, I forgot how much I loved it. My face feels so soft everytime I use it. It’s so gentle on the skin and you cannot beat the affordable price. I use this twice a day to remove any dirt or excess on the skin and my skin stays glowing throughout the day with or without any product on the face.

Mario Badescu Witch Hazel & Rosewater Toner, $14

It wouldn’t be a skincare routine without a toner, am I right? This toner by Mario Badescu contains rose water and witch hazel to remove impurities out of the face without that drying feeling we all hate. My skin never feels dried out after applying this toner, it’s super hydrating and fresh. I also apply this twice a day after cleansing the skin.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+, $28

Another OG in my skincare book, I absolutely love this moisturizer. I’ve been using this product for years and I don’t think I’ll ever switch to another one to be honest. It’s perfect for all skin types so I reccommend it to everyone that asks for recommendations. I find that it not only provides hydration to the skin but it softens, smooths, and leaves my skin glowing. I use this in the morning before I start my day and at night before I hop in bed.

Akura Wellness Advanced Hand Sanitizer, $8.95

One of the first products I bought when the pandemic became apparent was a hand sanitzer. I love Akura Wellness’ hand sanitzer because it comes in a not-so traditional hand sanitzer size, you get so much product for a great price. In addition to that, its so soothing on the hands. I hate the feeling that most hand sanitzers give me, making my hands super dry after applying. I don’t have to worry about this product doing that because it contains aloe vera and is a gel consistency. If there’s anything you must-have during this quarantine, it’s a good hand sanitzer to keep all the germs away!

Glossier Hand Cream, £16.00

Last but certainly not least, a good hand cream is a must in the skincare routine. This one by Glossier is one of their newest releases and it’s already one of my favorite products from the brand. It’s fast-absorbing and contains nutrient-rich prodcuts that keep my hands moisturized but don’t give it that freasy feeling. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve washed my hands or applied hand sanitzier to them during this time. My hands are as smooth as ever with the help of this hand cream.
