It’s been just a couple weeks since we lost music mogul, Andre Harrell.

BET has just announced that they will be releasing a special tribute to the legend that will include many stars and Harrell’s friends in the world of entertainment.

This news was confirmed by Hollywood Reporter, revealing that the tribute will be called Mr. Champagne and Bubbles, which was Harrell’s nickname.

The tribute will include Mariah Carey, Babyface, Jamie Foxx, Chris Rock, Naomi Campbell, Lee Daniels, Russell Simmons, Kimora Lee Simmons, and Robin Thicke.

The commercial-free special will air on BET, BET Jams, BET Soul, and Revolt TV (where Harrell served as Vice-Chairman).

Andre Harrell is best known for founding Uptown Records in the late 1980s. He helped shaped the world of music in the R&B/hip-hop genre by working with artists such as Heavy D & The Boyz, Mary J. Blige, Al B. Sure!, and Diddy.
