Resuming her role as Nala in the upcoming live-action prequel “Mufasa: The Lion King,” Beyonce will be returning to Disney. In the movie, her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, will also be joining the cast.
According to ABC News, Beyoncé’s daughter Blue is reprising her role as Kiara, the daughter of King Simba and Queen Nala. Viewers will get to hear her voice playing the part of Nala.
“Beyoncé is this larger-than-life figure, but when she’s working with her daughter, when she’s in the room with her daughter, she’s a mom first,” said film director Barry Jenkins about the mother-daughter team.
