27 YEAR OLD CEO SELECTED AS KEYNOTE SPEAKER AFTER EXPERIENCING YOUTH HOMELESSNESS
It has been roughly two years since corporate America made its series of pledges to address systemic racism.

As a result, a myriad of major corporations—individually and collectively—vowed to provide access and resources to African Americans so they could realize career mobility on all fronts and gain business-building procurement opportunities.

On February 17, 2022, a group of high-powered executives and top thought leaders were selected to speak and address these essential topics at the BLACK ENTERPRISE Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Summit 2022 to discuss African American representation and participation at all levels of corporate America.

Alongside panel speakers Tony Waller (VP of Constituent Relations, Walmart) Reginald Miller (VP Global Chief Diversity Officer, McDonald’s), Steve White (President/Special Counsel to the CEO, Comcast Cable) and more, 27 year old CEO/Founder of The Diversity Org and phenomenal young Black Influencer, Recording Artist, Founder and CEO Joshua Pierce (2 million + views) has been selected to do a keynote TED Talk style speech. Pierce and The Diversity Org have been on the frontlines of DEI by bridging the gap and working directly with underserved and at-risk youth and Fortune 500 companies throughout the globe. Experiencing homelessness in his youth, Joshua’s impact and work reflects and stems from his own adversities growing up.

At 27 years old, through his global nonprofit, The Diversity Org, Pierce is impacting thousands of low-income, underprivileged and at-risk youth and their communities with his organization’s innovative company culture, programming and partnerships.

Experiencing an impoverished upbringing as an at-risk youth, Joshua saw the need for change not just in his own life, but within the global market. Despite averaging a 1.7 GPA in highschool, Pierce allowed his challenges to propel him to shift and excel socially and academically as an influential NYU graduate completing the University’s Entrepreneurial/Blackstone’s “Launchpad” business incubator in addition to being selected as an essential influencer in YouTube’s “Creators for Change” Initiative.

As a CEO with a heart of gold and a dynamic set of practices and principles to empower his consistently growing and vibrant team throughout the U.S, Joshua and his organization have been able to build bridges and points of impact for underserved youth with companies with the likes of Warner Media (HBO, CNN, Cartoon Network), J.P. Morgan Chase, Verizon, Ernst & Young, Viacom (Nickelodeon, MTV, BET, Showtime), HSBC, Kellogg’s Nielsen, Capri Holdings (Versace, Michael Kors, Jimmy Choo), Blackstone, AT&T, Peloton, Colgate-Palmolive, Salesforce and more!

Joshua and his team have impacted thousands of students of low-income backgrounds, who now have an equal shot at success and gain opportunities to professional development workshops with corporate employees, opportunities for internships and even entry-level positions. Joshua and The Diversity Org are leading this new era of influencers to help sculpt the future one partnership at a time.
