Dr. William D. Yates is a recognized leader in the field of hair loss and one of the premier hair restoration surgeons in the country. Dr. Yates has had a passion and drive for excellence his entire career. He graduated with a B.A. in medical science from Northwestern University, and received his M.D. from the 6-year honors program at Northwestern University in Illinois. He completed his surgical internship at Howard University Hospital in Washington D.C. in 1986 and general surgery residency in 1990. In 1991, he completed his fellowship in critical care/trauma at the University of Maryland Hospital. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Diplomat of the Board of Hair Restoration Surgery.  Dr. Yates was awarded a merit position on the Medical Board of Healing Arts, the governing body for all health care providers in the State of Missouri.  Also, with great honor he provided the oral board examination for the American Board of Surgery which is only awarded to extremely proficient and skilled surgeons.
