It’s no secret our nation is going through a difficult time right now. With the pandemic underway and the recent death of George Floyd, people all over the world are using their voices to speak on the topic of Floyd’s death.

Comedian and actor, Dave Chappelle took it upon himself to address the heartbreaking incident of Floyd in his new special titled, 8:46.

The new special, avaliable on YouTube and Netflix was titled after the amount of time that Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin kneeled on George Floyd’s neck as he called out stating that he could not breathe.

This is the first time Chappelle has gotten on stage in 87 days. He discussed social distancing and how he felt seeing the video of Floyd’s passing. Ironically, Dave Chappelle himself was born at 8:46 in the morning.
