The fashion industry has been going through it lately with the current pandemic – matter of fact, many businesses and industries have had to completely make changes and shift to this new norm. Not only with the pandemic but with the heartbreaking loss of black lives across our nation at the hands of police, our world is seriously going through it.

In an effort to create a conversation, Shop’s parent company Shopify has just released a new feature on their app to support black customers and stockists during this time.

Just last week, the digital app Shop launched their feature that puts black-owned brands at the forefront of their application. This makes shopping and supporting black brands across the globe a lot easier. Really, there is no excuse not to shop black brands, especially now.

In addition, Shopify is donating $1 million to NACCP, Black Health Alliance Canada, and Campaign Zero.
