Self awareness is the core of improvement. You need to know where you are in your life , who you are at the core, and what you are.Those key elements are of importance in self awareness , self love and self care. It’s so easy to forget who we are and what we need when life hits us daily. But, our mental health is real and we must remember to take care of ourselves and nourish our mind, body, and souls before we can be any good to anyone else. So, let’s take a look at a few ways to help you check in with yourself to ensure you are aware of self and what you need to be whole.

  1. Take a read with our sis Michelle Williams’ new book called Checking In it’s a beautiful read and shows her path of self healing and understanding.
  2. Meditate take 20 mins clear your mind to refuel your energy
  3. Name three things you are grateful for or that went well for you
  4. Brain Dump –Yup! Time to reset and clear your mind!
  5. Do nothing –Yesss! Sometimes doing nothing is a huge way to care for ourselves and just remember YOU matter!
