Everyone is aware of how popular K-beauty (Korean brands) is in the world of beauty but what most people aren’t aware of is how slept on Latinx brands are! When it comes to finding new beauty brands, we’re always on the hunt for brands that of course, are great in quality. Besides that point, the real question is why not support brands owned by Latinx men and women? The Latinx community is super popular when it comes to the beauty space. Now that we’ve got the spotlight on Latinx beauty brands, here are five brands you should familiarize yourself with and support.

Mia Del Mar

The beauty brand, Mia Del Mar was created due to the lack of representation for Latinas in the beauty world. The company was created by Diana Briceno. She started off the brand by releasing one product – a night cream and now, the line includes more skin care products and makeup!

Lights Lacquer

This brand was founded by YouTuber, Kathleen Fuentes just last year. The vlogger wanted to release a line that included many different collections. We love all the beautiful hues Lights Lacquer has to offer and we know you will too.

We love any brand that does an excellent job of bringing our curls to life. This brand was created by Lulu Cordero. The products are inspired by oils used in the Dominican culture. This includes coffee seed oil and black cumin seed oil. The oils formulated in her products not only hydrate the curls but also help them grow as well.

Golden Dream Beauty

With over 800K subscribers on YouTube, Ydelays Rodriguez used her beauty knowledge to release her very own beauty brand. We’re so glad she did! Golden Dream Beauty is a line of silk false eyelashes. The best part about her lashes is that they are vegan and cruelty-free!

Melt Cosmetics

Co-founders, Lora Arellano-Tovar and Dana Bomar met while working at the beauty counters in Nordstrom. Man oh man, what a powerful duo these two make. The two founded Indie brand, Melt Cosmetics – which is new to the Sephora roster. The two beauties released this brand in order to bring products that they felt were missing on the beauty shelves. They are known for the highly pigmented eyeshadows and highlighters.
