LISTEN HERE.

Fivio wades through a sinister drill beat as he recounts the tale of Jason’s demise. Each verse allows listeners to track the protagonist’s journey in real time, delving deep into a riveting adventure of love and lust. As Jason attempts to explore a deeper connection with his new belle, this ultimately leads to his downfall. Fivio tells it like it is with lyrics that cut deep, honing in on his cinematic storytelling skills to envelop audiences with a street parable.

This single marks an exciting new chapter for Fivio Foreign after going independent. There’s no pressure to conform and compromise his artistic integrity, and now, he’s taking full control of his career. “I’m going to show y’all in real time what it looks like to be a successful independent artist,” he says. “This is the first time y’all get to see Fivi how Fivi wants to be seen, and it’s gon’ be way more movies.”

Jason’s Plan” follows the October-released single “Living Legend,” the latter of which consummates Fivio’s rise to international fame. Both singles build on the momentum of the prolific rapper’s Pain & Love 2 mixtape released earlier this year. The project includes guest appearances from Meek Mill, Swae Lee, Popcaan, Sheff G, and Lil Tjay, among others, receiving praise from XXL, BET, VIBE, and Rap Radar to name a few.

Fivio’s versatility shines through past collaborations with artists such as Ye (formerly Kanye West), Drake, and Nicki Minaj, while his influence transcends into the fashion world with appearances at both New York Fashion Week (NYFW) and Paris Fashion Week.

With no signs of slowing down, the NY giant has proven time and time again that he’s the best at what he does as a modern world drill purveyor. Stream “Jason’s Plan” above and stay tuned for more from Fivio Foreign

ABOUT FIVIO FOREIGN

Few artists have been as influential for as long as Fivio Foreign. The prolific rapper broke through in 2019 when his song “Big Drip” became so ubiquitous that Fivio signed with Columbia Records, marking a significant milestone in his career. He gained prominence in the rap scene with his gritty lyrics, street wisdom, and a distinctive sound that has become synonymous with the Brooklyn drill space. The raw authenticity he brings to the mic is truly one-of-a-kind, with each bar creating a connection that goes beyond the confines of a mere song. As his fame skyrocketed, so did the mania surrounding Fivio’s artistry which led to becoming one of the most in-demand collaborators. Throughout the years, he’s worked with high-profile acts, including Kanye West (“Off The Grid” featuring Playboi Carti), Drake (“Demons”), Nicki Minaj (“We Go Up”), and Alicia Keys (“City of Gods” with Kanye West) to name a few. Needless to say, his role in the culture has long been solidified from previous collaborations with rap’s biggest trailblazers. Fivio was part of the 2020 XXL Freshman Class, which allowed him to ascend musically. From then on, he maintained this momentum with a string of increasingly popular releases and subsequently took over the East Coast drill scene. In 2022, Fivio’s debut studio album, B.I.B.L.E., peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 chart. That same year, he achieved massive success, bolstered by his first-ever RIAA Platinum certification (for “Big Drip”). He continued fortifying his discography with projects like Pain & Love 2 (2024), and the recently released single “Living Legend.” Now, no longer signed to Columbia Records, he re-emerges as an independent artist, readying fans old and new for his next chapter as a purveyor of Drill Rap.
