Congratulations on all your success. What are you most proud of accomplishing in your career so far?

Joselyn: There isn’t one particular thing, because I’m proud of every single thing I’ve done to bring me this far in my career and the woman I’m becoming. I’m a lot more fearless and bold.

Tell us about your latest work. What can we look forward to?
Joselyn : Thanks. My latest work would be “Dilemma” on Africa Magic Showcase on Dstv & on Showmax App.

‘Dilemma’ follows the love story of two estranged lovers who reunite after years apart and are forced to confront a past they would both rather forget.

As a businesswoman and women working in entertainment? What advice do you have for people that are looking to expand their brands?

Joselyn: Appearance & Valued Substance is everything in creating a multifaceted brand with longevity but particularly , I tweeted this recently and I’d quote myself here and say, “BE INTENTIONAL. Go after what you believe in even when no one supports you. Be calculated & move with focus & don’t settle or fold till your hustle speaks for you.

That’s being INTENTIONAL”

What are some of your remedies how you prepared before hosting a show or going into character on set ?

Joselyn: For acting, the best way to be in character is to embody and become the character in the best way possible. I do so by discussing the character with my director, just to get the background and answer the “Whys” of the character, why the character is the way she is, that really helps me in preparing for the role/character.

What was one the biggest challenges you had to overcome earlier in your career? What kept you motivated?

Joselyn: That would be the negative talk. I had a lot of negative feedback and so much doubt about my ability to handle the show given me at the particular time but I channeled the negative comments to make me better. I showed up every day and made the best of the moment given me in front of the camera and haven’t looked back since.

Have you always known you wanted to work in entertainment? Who inspired you?

Joselyn: As a child I wanted to be a pilot but my love for entertainment developed as I grew, and it was inspired by actors such as Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp and lately Viola Davis as well and for Television definitely Oprah Winfrey.

Where can fans keep up with all your work?
Joselyn: You can find my work on Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu and UMC. Thanks for having me. #LoveAbounds
