Nafisah Carter is an international celebrity hairstylist who possesses an effortless ability to transform lives through beauty. This southern belle was determined to pave a way for herself in the highly competitive hair industry. After graduating from Dudley’s Beauty College, she knew it was time to level up and turn her passion into paychecks. Nafisah’s celebrity clientele includes Tinashe, Michelle Williams, Erica Mena, and many more. She turned her experience into profit and is reopening The Salon Raleigh by Nafisah Carter in Raleigh, North Carolina.
How did you become a celebrity hairstylist?
I moved to New York, and I started my career as an assistant hair stylist at Rita Hazan Salon. This salon is synonymously known for working with uber high profile clientele such as Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian, and Jennifer Lopez. While at the salon, I gained a lot of experience by assisting their top celebrity hairstylists. This experience was my entry into the world of celebrity hairstyling.
