For years, we were used to the Met Gala happening on the first Monday in the month of May. Due to the current pandemic, the gala has been postponed but it appears that isn’t going to stop the celebration. Fashion’s biggest night is still going to happen although the gala was postponed indefinitely.

Vogue is holding highlights from the previous years of the Met Gala – which is a celebration that will live stream on YouTube. The 2020 Met Gala, “A Moment With the Met” will take place today, May 4th. Vogue will continue to look back at Met Galas that have taken place in the past the following day Tuesday, May 5th.

It all begins with “Liza Koshy’s Best Red Carpet Moments” at 10 AM EST. Following, “Life in Looks: Naomi Campbell” will begin at 3 PM EST. “A Moment With the Met” Livestream will take place at 6 PM EST. Right after, at 7 PM EST, “Everything You Need to Know About the Met Gala” will begin.

On Tuesday, May 5th “Met Oral history: Liv Tyler and Stella McCartney” will begin at 10 AM EST. Following that, “Met Oral History: Cardi B and Jeremy Scott” will take place at 3 PM EST. To tune in, you click here!

Performances by Florence + The Machine and a DJ set with Virgil Abloh will be included as well!

Vogue will donate to both the Costume Institute and A Common Thread. Viewers will be asked to consider contributing as well.

The Costume Institute’s “About Time: Fashion and Duration” exhibit at the Met Museum in New York City was postponed until October 29th.
