Introducing a powerful partnership between Gas Gods, a luxury Cannabis company, and Sipping PositiviTEA, a non-profit organization. Together, they have joined forces to launch an incredible initiative called ‘Sip to Save the Tat Tat’s’ during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Today we are joined by 15-year breast cancer survivor, Dr. Jacque Colbert who will share with our readers the impact of this innovative endeavor.

Dr. Jacque Colbert, as a 15-year breast cancer survivor, how did your personal experience with breast cancer influence your decision to champion the Breast Cancer Mammogram and Financial Assistance Fund?

Dr. Jacque: My personal journey as a breast cancer survivor was the key driver in my decision to champion the Breast Cancer Mammogram and Financial Assistance Fund. Having gone through the challenges and uncertainties that a breast cancer diagnosis brings, I understand the physical, emotional, and financial toll it can take on individuals and their families.

During my own experience, I was fortunate to have a strong support system and access to the necessary resources for my treatment. However, I realized that not everyone is as fortunate. Many women face barriers to getting the mammograms they need for early detection, and the financial burden of breast cancer treatment can be overwhelming.

This realization fueled my passion to make a difference. I wanted to ensure that no one would have to go through the journey alone, without the necessary resources, and that every woman would have access to life-saving mammograms. By championing this fund, I hope to provide support and assistance to those who need it most, just as I received during my own breast cancer battle. It’s a way for me to give back and make a meaningful impact in the fight against breast cancer.

Your dedication for making a real difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer is admirable such as with the ‘Sip to Save the Tat Tat’ initiative. What vital information should our readers know about this endeavor?

Dr. Jacque: Our ‘Sip to Save the Tat Tat’ initiative is a play on words inspired by my Non-Profit organization Sipping PositiviTEA. Sipping PositiviTEA is indeed a labor of love that stems from my personal experience as a 15-year breast cancer survivor.

This endeavor involves a partnership with Gas GODS, who have formulated a special Strawberry Lemonade drink infused with THC in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. THC has been shown to have significant benefits in alleviating the side effects of breast cancer treatment, such as stimulating appetite and managing pain. Gas GODS and Sipping PositiviTEA during Breast Cancer Awareness month to Sip to Save the Tat Tat’s not only offering a specialty cocktail for breast cancer patients but also Gas GODS will contribute to the cause.

What’s crucial for your readers to know about this initiative is that every sip they take of this Strawberry Lemonade not only provides a refreshing experience but also makes a tangible impact. A portion of the proceeds from this drink will be directed toward the Breast Cancer Mammogram and Financial Assistance Fund. This fund is dedicated to ensuring that women in need can access vital mammograms and receive financial support to ease the burden of breast cancer treatment.

Sip to Save the Tat Tat’ represents the power of community, resilience, and coming together to support those battling breast cancer. It’s an opportunity for individuals to enjoy a refreshing drink while actively participating in the fight against breast cancer. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by this disease, offering hope, support, and positivity to those who need it most.

What specific impact do you envision this initiative having on individuals who are on their breast cancer journey?

Dr. Jacque: The ‘Sip to Save the Tat Tat’ initiative assists those navigating the challenging path of their breast cancer journey. By participating in this initiative, individuals become a vital part of the broader breast cancer community.

A recent encounter with a young lady who, despite being insured, grappled with the overwhelming financial strain of exorbitant premiums. These financial challenges hindered her access to crucial treatment and medications. The funds raised through this initiative directly benefit women in similar circumstances, providing them with access to essential mammograms and offering the financial assistance needed to bridge the gap in their treatment journey. It’s our commitment to stand by these women, offering them vital resources and making their breast cancer journey a little less challenging, one sip at a time.

What else would you like our readers to know at this time? Any exclusive news you can share with us first?

Dr. Jacque: I’m excited to share some exclusive news with your readers about our upcoming Pink and Black Gala. This year’s gala promises to be a memorable event with a lineup of special guests and captivating moments. We’re excited to welcome Chef Dawn Burrell from Top Chef as one of our special guests. Chef Dawn’s culinary expertise and her dedication to supporting charitable causes align perfectly with the spirit of our gala.

So, we invite your readers to mark their calendars for our Pink and Black Gala taking place in Houston on Oct 21st at the Chifley Hotel from 7pm to 10pm, where they can join us in making a real impact in the fight against breast cancer. Are there any plans to expand this initiative beyond Breast Cancer Awareness Month or collaborate with other organizations addressing similar health challenges?

Dr. Jacque: Absolutely, we wholeheartedly believe that the fight against cancer is an ongoing commitment, and it’s a cause that we’re dedicated to year-round. While Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a special time for raising awareness and support, our efforts extend well beyond October. Throughout the year, we actively collaborate with various organizations to provide resources and assistance to individuals in need.

Last year we executed an “Big Energy Brunch” as a supportive effort for Breast Cancer survivors. We’re looking forward to executing our Big Energy Brunch in March, which will be another impactful event aimed at supporting and uplifting individuals affected by Breast Cancer. This event will provide a platform to address mental health and wellness, focusing on both one’s physical and emotional well-being.

We’re continuously exploring opportunities for collaboration with organizations, we believe in the power of partnerships and the strength of a united front in the battle against Breast Cancer. Our goal is to make a positive difference in the lives of those in need. So, your readers can expect to see more initiatives, partnerships, and collaborations from us as we work tirelessly to support the well-being of our community throughout the year.
