Due to the global pandemic, Jay-Z star-studded traditional, Made in America festival has been cancelled. The rapper’s festival (founded in 2012) is usually held over Labor Day weekend each year in Philadelphia.

It was just announced that this year’s festival has been cancelled and rescheduled for 2021. The event has featured performances from many of our favorite artists such as Mariah Carey, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, and Beyoncé!

The statement on the official Made In America website says, “We are in a pivotal time in this nation’s history. Collectively, we are fighting parallel pandemics, Covid-19, systematic racism and police brutality. Now is the time to protect the health of our artists, fans, partners and community as well as focus on our support for organizations and individuals fighting for social justice and equality in our country. Therefore, the Made In America festival will be rescheduled for Labor Day Weekend 2021.”

For those that have already purchased tickets, they can be used next year. Additional information will be released on the official website and social media pages of Made In America.
