This just in! Joy-Ann Reid has earned herself her very own prime-time news show on MSNBC.

According to The New York Times, Reid will join the group of small black women who curretntly host a position during prime-time hours.

In a statement to The New York Times, Reid shared, “Evening and prime-time news has been a universe of White men really since I was growing up.”

She added, “For somebody who grew up as a nerdy kid obsessed with news, watching Nightline and Meet the Press, the idea of being a part of that family has always just been kind of overwhelming.”

Reid’s new show titled, The ReidOut will premiere at 7PM.
