Kanye West Honors Late Mother, Donda West with New Song, “DONDA”

In honor of his mother’s 71st birthday, Kanye West honored his late mother with his new single titled, “Donda.”

West took it to Twitter over the weekend to share the new song and video with his followers.

Donda was a college professor. She passed away at just 58-years-old back in 2007 after complications from plastic surgery. Last year, we tuned in as West opened up to talk show host, David Letterman about how his mother still plays a role in his everyday life. He stated, “This would have been the funnest time of her life to have those kids running around that house and being able to like go and buy them toys.”

He later added, “You know, she’s here with us and she’s guiding us.”
